Countdown to Sheffield Doc/Fest

The final countdown! One week until Sheffield Doc/Fest !
This is a festival very close to the Dog heart, every year it gets bigger and better and this year we are pleased as punch to be there again with six films screening and three filmmakers in attendance. Films include previews of the eagerly awaited Blackfish and The Act of Killing with director Q&As; Sundance favourite Muscle Shoals; and a special UK screening of The Network.
We’re also very pleased to be part of Spirit of ’45 Day on 15 June, with a day of celebrations including live music, poetry and of course a screening of The Spirit of ’45.
Finally, we will present the inaugural Tim Hetherington Award at the closing ceremony, a tribute to a great filmmaker, humanitarian, and friend.
So, if you are lucky enough to be attending, keep an eye out for Oli, Vesna and Yung, all rocking the Dogwoof bags and happy to chat all things Docs!
